Formula One Pit

Not sure if I am at the right place...but I am where I am! Landed after 9 Days and 7 hours sailing in the Americas Cup Basin of Valencia. Lifguns new home is now the Victory Challange Base. Victory Challange was the Swedisch Americas Cup team and Ewen was part of the core team during and after the cup. What‘s going on here is unbelievable, the refitting and maintenance of racing boats (most out of the TP52 series) is breathtaking. Somehow I’m the chicken, but better be there as a chicken then not. Shane my rigger from NZ will take care of Lifgun and her ecSix cables. In fact it‘s only here in Valencia and in Newport (RI) possible to service Lifgun’s rigg. Amazing...isn‘t it ? However, as you can see on the photos the discussion about draft is pathetic, not sure but the one boat has at least 4.5 meters draft...and an egine which can be folded away...tell you ...somebody must have very deep pockets...also Platoon the German TP 52 boat is here and goes trough a refit...Enjoy your weekend and hello from the Formula One Pit in Valencia
